Following SAFEgroup Automation’s acquisition of Welcon Technologies in June 2024, the two businesses have been progressively integrating operations, systems and teams. This staged approach was designed to ensure continuity for clients while aligning processes under one unified structure.

With this transition now complete, Welcon Technologies has fully integrated into SAFEgroup Automation.

A Structured Integration:

  • Since the acquisition in mid-2024, integration activities have included:
  • Alignment of engineering and project delivery teams
  • Consolidation of operational and ERP systems
  • Standardisation of documentation and workflows
  • Gradual transition to the SAFEgroup brand

Throughout this period, clients have continued to work with the same experienced personnel, with no disruption to service delivery.

What This Means for Clients

As part of this transition, we will be progressively moving from the welcon.com.au domain to safegroup.com.au, along with changes to our internal ERP systems. As a result, you may notice updates to the appearance of our communications and documentation, including:

  • Email addresses and email signatures
  • Proposals and quotations
  • Purchase orders, invoices, and related documents

This rebrand does not affect:

  • Existing contractual arrangements
  • Banking details
  • Ongoing projects or support agreements

Email communications have transitioned to the @safegroup.com.au domain, with forwarding in place to ensure continuity.
