project Specifics
Modern SCADA and telemetry enabling independent water network control
Following de-amalgamation, Livingstone Shire Council needed a fully separated, consolidated controls environment for its water and sewerage operations. Our Team redesigned and implemented a single SCADA platform and telemetry network, integrating 50 telemetry stations and PLCs with automated remote alarming. The new system gives the Yeppoon depot end-to-end visibility and control of network assets.
Result: a unified, future-ready control system that restores independence and resilience.
About the Livingstone Shire Water & Sewerage Network
The network supplies potable water and monitors/controls sewerage services across the shire, historically managed under a shared arrangement with Rockhampton Regional Council. After de-amalgamation, LSC required its own SCADA environment to supervise treatment, distribution and major field assets from the Yeppoon operations depot, with robust alarming, expandability and the ability to continue operating key sites during wider network failures.
