Reliable Power and Control Systems for Critical Water Infrastructure
To support the expanding LNG developments, the Gladstone Regional Council required a robust 11kV Power Supply System for the Curtis Island Water and Sewerage Infrastructure Project. The system included two 800kVA diesel generators, one 800kVA substation, and three 250kVA substations, connected via underground 11kV cabling.
Our Team delivered an integrated solution that ensured reliable power supply, centralised control, and secure communications.
The project successfully delivered resilient infrastructure to support essential water and sewage operations.
About the Curtis Island Plant
The Curtis Island facility is responsible for providing essential water and sewerage services to meet the demands of LNG-related developments. With three sewage pump stations and a dedicated communications hub at the potable water reservoir, the site required dependable power and control systems to maintain operations.
The 11kV system supplies energy to all pumping infrastructure and the reservoir site, ensuring continuous service to the island’s residents and industries.
